Location: Port Augusta and Port Pirie SA
Brief: Refurbishment of the Medicare trading branches staged fit out work. We worked over one weekend for each branch from Friday 5.00pm – 8.00am Monday so that the offices wouldn't lose business
Scope of work: Remove all existing partition walls, ceiling tiles, door/frames and sidelights, floor coverings, counters, electrical/lighting, signage, data, security, relocate safe, existing kitchenette. Our truck transported all of the items required for the project from detailed joinery to the kitchen sink, televisions, fridge, microwave etc.
Friday 5.00pm
Commence demolition of existing tenancy.
Tenancy was stripped out by 7.30pm.

Starting of new work
Setting out of walls, new sections of set plasterboard ceilings, unload truck, electrical data and security contractors started rough-in of cables. By end of night all walls and door frames were installed.

Remove existing kitchen unit. Sheeting and setting of all walls and ceiling throughout, electrical, delivery of counters and furniture. Installation of carpet tiles, front of house joinery items, poster display units window tinting and anti graffiti film, kitchen plumbing and kitchen joinery unit.

Plasterers sanded off walls and ceiling areas, set out for installation of light fitting in set ceiling, painting walls and ceilings. Install joinery, light fittings, electrical, data and security fit off, finish floor coverings. Install signage, counters, curved screen skirtings, manager’s desk/hamper, office equipment and professional cleaners cleaned throughout.
Monday morning
Installation of blinds to new sidelight windows, handover of site at 8.00am branch re-opened at 9.00am.
